Power Analysis helps determine a minimum sample size for a study. Usually, it is performed before collecting actual sample data to understand statistical significance. Power analysis comprises four components – statistical power, sample size, significance level, and expected effect size. If you have estimates for three out of the four components, then the fourth component can be calculated.
